The

review

“This proposal defines the essence of the contemporary circus. The disciplines are just the tool to convey a story of getting to know one another, of empathy, of play, of risk, between two people who need each other, who support each other. Extraordinary narrative for today’s world tending towards individualism. Good sound space, small doses of humor, execution of a high technical level together with an interesting dramaturgy, had the audience, at all times, linked to that magical thread that occurs when there is an extraordinary show on stage.”

Identity
in a language

of circus and dance

“Excuse me if I introduce you as if I don’t know you” is the result of three years of creation. It reflects the way in which Miguel and Pablo meet, two bodies that play with symmetry, duplicity and ambiguity to compose surprising images, acrobatic dialogues and dreamlike scenes. By connecting with different emotions they shape a work that has a particular meaning for each person, and so the viewer can make their own version of it and discover through dance and circus the duality “who is the other – who am I?”

“Excuse me if I introduce you as if I don’t know you” justifies the fact that you know me without knowing me. It engages in dialogue with the public to generate reflections on identity, the relationship with others and what surrounds us.
